Applications Of Space-Electrophresis In Medicine

چکیده
The contributions of ground based electrophoresis to biology and medicine have been briefly reviewed and placed into context with further advances potentially realizable from a space electrophoresis facility. This has to be viewed primarily as a unique national research facility, which may eventually yield significant benefits for advancement of basic biomedical knowledge and its technological utilization. Primary objectives are increased resolution and throughput for critical separa tions of living cells and biomacromolecules.
